Now that we are coming to the end of October and Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence awareness month, have any of the messages you heard throughout the month resonate with you?
We go about our lives not being mindful as to what we are doing and how we are doing it UNTIL something happens. After my 4th friend got diagnosed with cancer, I began to take inventory of my life and what and how I was doing things.
We think so much about what we put in our body but rarely about what toxins we use in our own homes.
A study published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (2018) found that women who use cleaning agents weekly the damage done to their lungs is equivalent to a pack a day smoking habit!
I am now on a journey to do that with all my products, including makeup, soaps, deodorants, etc. I have also converted the cleaning products in my home to non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products. It’s time to stop the excuses as to why you can’t do something or change, if you are interested in learning how to do the same or want to join me on this journey, message me!
Yours in Wellness!
